SIMPLIFYING STYLE: The Kitchen Edit
We know you’re busy, so each week, we are going to simplify your interior design journey by curating our favourite finds; from product launches that drop in our inbox to the inspiring spaces we discover. We’ll post them here as a weekly roundup, so settle in with your coffee and prepare to use that Pinterest button!
This week, our focus has been on kitchens and bathrooms as we kickstarted the design process for our latest renovation project in Queen’s Park. Our client, who will be using the property as her city base, has expressed a desire to infuse jewel tones and statement pieces to contrast the style of her country home. Navigating the constraints of a compact U-shaped footprint, our primary focus has been on crafting a kitchen layout that optimizes storage while selecting finishes that makes a bold visual statement.
• Intricately veined Arabescato marble meets pine green cabinets and glass-fronted top units, resulting in a standout kitchen design from Devol Kitchens

• Interesting textures are the key in this kitchen design by Dillons Kitchens. Ribbed pale olive shaker doors pair with satin brass handles and a neutral worktop to create a modern kitchen design. We love how this compliments the herringbone floor.

• Dark feature paintwork adds depth to the wall above the shelf. This colour palette lends a dark and moody aesthetic to the kitchen.

• Although not seen often enough, panelling adds a sophisticated touch to this striking neutral kitchen design by Home Style Interior
• Another moody kitchen palette we adored, with a weathered copper worktop and sink to add a touch of elegance by Devol Kitchens (we simply couldn’t choose between the two Devol Kitchens options!)
• A serene sage kitchen by Crouch Design. The incorporation of black and brass wall lights infuses a contemporary twist.
• Jkath Design Build reminds us you can absolutely mix metals in your kitchen design. The subtle brass rail detail completes the beautiful marble shelf.
