The Family Townhouse

Queen's Park, NW6

With a large collection of artwork from their travels, our clients asked us to design them an elegant space that would allow the pieces to become the focal point.

We worked with the clients to undertake a full renovation of the 1200sqft home, including acting as their on site liaison while they went abroad for the summer months as the building transformation unfolded.

A lover of entertaining, the client desired an open plan ground floor for the whole family to enjoy. To connect the spaces, we opened up the doors and added in large roof lights and sliding Crittal doors to maximise the natural light in the North facing sitting area. We incorporated an oversized island in the kitchen design, to ensure the cook could always chat with the guests!

Of the two bathrooms we designed for the client, the cloakroom was particularly special featuring an unexpected pop of colour. It’s playful take on all things New York made our American client reminiscent of her childhood.

We were delighted when the client returned and asked us to design their new extension and bathroom.

Kind words from our lovely client:
“I’m extremely happy with all the work and support Charley provided for us. She was a life saver, not sure how we would have done without her. She’s super organised and extremely diplomatic between couples and style disagreement. She was great at listening to what we both wanted and providing choices that made us both happy. She’s great with spacial awareness and her architectural background is a complete asset.”
